1 〔彩色する〕 color; paint; add [lend, give] color 《to…》; 〔化粧する〕 make up.

●西の空が夕日に美しく彩られていた. The western sky was beautifully colored by the setting sun.

・野原はいろいろの花で彩られている. The field is variegated with all kinds of flowers.
